Devon + Patrick
What do you get when you mix a bride with a beautiful vision, an incredible home to host, and a charmingly sweet couple? A wedding for the books! Devon and Patrick’s wedding day was nothing short of amazing and we were so thrilled to be a part of it.
The ceremony took place at St John’s Episcopal. The bride was absolutely stunning as she said her vows to her handsome groom. Devon & Patrick exited the ceremony under a flurry of petals that guests tossed as they made their way into their limo. Guests were then shuttled to Devon and Patrick’s home – a beautiful house sprawled out on a large piece of land that had the most incredible view of Long’s Peak as the backdrop.
Guests were greeted with cocktails from whiskey barrel bar and passed bites from A Spice of Life. We loved the garland that Liz with Siloh Floral used to adorn the bars.
After the cocktail hour, guests made their way down a bistro lit trail to a large, incredible Sperry style tent. Bistro lights adorned the entire tent between large, gorgeous chandeliers. The table settings beneath the tent was where the stuff dreams are made of! Guests sat at either large harvest tables with crystal chargers, ivory lined dinner plates with copper flatware, or large linen cover rounds with wooden chargers, ivory rimmed dinner plates and copper flatware. A small favor of spice rubs made by the couple’s family was put on top of each guest’s plate as a favor. Such a labor of love and there was not a single detail that went unnoticed! Devon & Patrick sat at their own sweetheart table – a marble table with pale yellow velvet chairs. So many details that we just adored!
The table assignment display was another genius collaboration by the bride. Two large stacks of hay provided an entry to the large tent, while strands of twine held up hand torn papers that listed the names of guests and their tables. The calligraphy was done by a friend of the bride and it was so sweet and beautiful! Each table name was a hiking trail in Colorado. The back of the tent had gorgeous seating arrangements beneath the lights, while the Photo Booth was framed perfectly in line with Long’s Peak
Patrick’s father made a toast to the “boy that is good, and the girl that loves love.” There was not a dry eye in the house and we were so happy to witness so much love! Guest then danced the night away to beats from DJ Jahsonic. Here’s to you Devon and Patrick – the boy that is good, and the girl that loves love. We adore you.
