We're calluna

Here at Calluna, we love a good holiday cocktail. In honor of Thanksgiving week, we wanted to share one of our favorite, easy recipes for a spiked spiced cider. The best part? You can throw all of the ingredients in the crockpot and let it do its magic while you work on the rest of your Thanksgiving feast. Bonus – it makes your whole house smell AMAZING!

Start with two quarts of apple cider in a crockpot on low.

Add in half a cup of brown sugar and stir.

To get a little spice, add in one teaspoon of cloves and one teaspoon of allspice. We recommend putting the spices in cheese cloth tied with twine. It makes it a little easier for drinking.

Add in four cinnamon sticks, one sliced orange, and one sliced apple. Let the mixture heat through before serving. Once ready, pour into a mug and add a splash (or two) of spiced rum.  ENJOY!

Ingredients:

2 Quarts of Apple Cider

1/2 cup of brown sugar

1 teaspoon of cloves

1 teaspoon of allspice

4 cinnamon sticks

1 orange – sliced

1 apple – sliced

Spiced rum
